Primitive Candles ~ Battery Operated!

Our primitive candles have been dipped in beeswax and hand rubbed with spices for that primitive look. The bulb is silicone, not plastic, which adds to the charm. They are available in three different colors: brown, mustard/orange & burgundy. They will fit in any standard taper candle holder and they require 2 AA batteries. Candles are 7" tall. Simply unscrew bottom, insert 2 batteries and tighten.

~ 1803 Candles ~
In 1803 the diary writings of Martha Ballard describes how she made tallow candles, dozens and dozens every day and stored them in the cellar. Her candles were the source of light from dusk to dawn.

Today we use candles to illuminate our homes with a warm light and cozy fragrance. Each 1803 candle is hand poured with pure soy wax, premium fragrance and essential oils. Jars are labeled with a scent name and story reminiscent of simpler times. Enjoy!
