The 13th Colony is located in Minocqua Wisconsin which is a charming island town surrounded by many lakes and the beautiful northwoods. For many years Minocqua has been known as "The Island City" but I never thought that was a true depiction of our charming town so I came up with this! One Happy Island ~ Minocqua, Wisconsin.

Our new collection of cotton socks are knit in the USA from recycled cotton yarns that are custom made for these particular socks. A small family owned knitting mill located in Vermont. |

Socks are knit with pre-shrunk, color-fast cotton yarns and all of our socks can be machine washed & dried. Socks will shrink a little in their first washing and are actually knit on the large side to accommodate this. The colors will not run or fade. After several washings, stray ends of yarn may work themseleves loose - you may clip these off or tuck them back into the sock. This is normal and the socks will not fall apart.
